| Level Seven Forum is the place for challenging discussions about relevant contemporary issues from a Christian perspective and for networking and fellowship with people who want to make a difference in society. The name “Level Seven Forum” suggests that we achieve real fulfillment only if we choose to transcend the basic levels outlined in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and decide to understand our spiritual needs as well. The journey may be more challenging than climbing a mountain but it is from the peak that we have the most panoramic views and catch a glimpse of the beyond. The purpose of Level Seven Forum is: (i) to highlight the influence of our Christian beliefs in every aspect of our society and (ii) to support our members to deal effectively with the challenges and opportunities of working in an increasingly secular culture. We aim to create a friendly environment where people from different schools of thought can come together to exchange ideas and information and enjoy fellowship together. Level Seven Forum is a non-profit making organization run by a voluntary Steering Committee selected from its members. The Steering Committee is responsible for the direction and the growth of the organisation, the planning of events and the delegation of responsibilities to members who serve on a voluntary basis. The events have the dual purpose outlined above but will be in two categories: (i) evening events on a particular topic at a venue that underscores the theme and (ii) business breakfasts at hotels or private clubs. We plan to have at least two events per quarter. |
